- We think you should concentrate on producing great art work, so we create and maintain your online gallery for you.
- We know what we are doing! In Merseyside, dot-art has been helping artists promote and sell their work since 2005; since 2008 we now cover the whole UK.
- We operate two membership schemes, depending on where you are based. Full membership is open to artists living in the Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester areas; and Virtual Membership is open to all other UK based artists.
- We are not a faceless, impersonal website. Our emphasis is on helping artists, so you can always speak to a real person about any issues or questions you may have.
- We are proud to be based outside the capital and do not believe that the art world has to revolve around London. We know that the rest of country has a huge pool of talent, which is currently under-represented and lacking in support and resources.
- We know that you might need some help if you have never sold your art before, or even if you have! Our members have access to help and advice on all aspects of promoting and selling your work, from pricing to packaging. Help can be found on the site, or you can call us and speak to a real person!
- We know that people like to buy art from artists local to them too, so on the dot-art website, all art can be searched and filtered by region.
- We arrange collection and delivery of work sold. The price of postage is added on at the checkout and paid by the customer, and a courier collects your art from you, all you have to do is package it.
- If you recommend a friend to dot-art and they subsequently join, you get a discount on your membership!
