Steward started out over 15 years ago as a wildlife photographer, travelling around the world following his passion. During this time He has written articles for several magazines including photographic and wildlife editions. His work has been published in several nature books and other publications. He has had several exhibitions of his work around the north of England, as well as supplying his work for sale at retail outlets. Steward also teaches photography to groups, individuals and gives talks about photography and wildlife travel on a regular basis, as well as doing pet photography commissions. Steward also takes photo walks around Liverpool for dot-art.

In the last few years Steward has started to experiment with photographic subjects, using nature and wildlife as well as cityscapes and everyday candid scenes. He also has combined his photography with digital art to merge both media. Steward also tries to capture the art within nature, by focusing on smaller parts of a whole image, trying to find natures natural lines, curves and colours. He also uses different "in camera" techniques to produce a variation to the standard photo image. His most recent experimentation has been in black and white photography, trying to use extreme darkness and light within the image

All prints are produced in an edition of just 20, and sold signed and numbered.
