Mick Gill studied at the Royal Academy from 1994 -1997 and is Director of Art at Merchant Taylors Girls School in Crosby, Liverpool where he runs The Vitreum arts space. He has works in numerous corporate and private collections, including BZW, RTZ Corporation and Rothchilds Bank. He lives in Eccleston Park, Merseyside.
The artist has this to say about his work:
"I love making and finding images through different techniques and processes. Painting can be about anything and nothing and it can work maybe on different levels - if you are lucky! Mersey Son is a series of paintings which explores place, memory and feeling through colour and paint. A kind of modern day Divine comedy set in Liverpool."
