Linda is a recent graduate whose work explores and draws inspiration from the relationships between plant forms as they occupy the same space. Closer experimentation reveals the structure of the form and the patterns and textures contained within. The light makes shapes with shadows that can never quite be predicted.
"I have been interested in photography and creating images from a young age. It was my darkroom experience and fascination with the latent image that inspired me to experiment with light, shape and form in the black & white and colour darkrooms. Photograms are in the roots of photography, being made only with light on light sensitive material thereby removing the need for the camera. The images are created completely within the darkroom."
These photograms are one-off pieces that have been reproduced in order to allow for a limited edition print run of 20 per image.
