Janet is an artist who has covered a range of subjects, usually painting from photographs. She has worked in most media, enjoying using and currently rediscovering acrylics; recently exploring colour in an abstract way. She has exhibited locally and is still discovering her own style. She has a background of Computer Graphics, having been involved in the printing industry for the most part of her working life. Always interested in art and crafts, having dabbled in silk painting and machine embroidery, painting on t-shirts and bags etc. Also a keen photographer. Having taken up painting again in the last year she is now focusing on doing regular painting within her Art Group, which has spurred her on to do more.
