I use the gallery to capture the simple joys of an earlier period. The 1950s and 60s were a time of massive social upheaval, with-in the inner city. Not just in my native Liverpool, but throughout the length of Great Britain. I like to think those changes are reflected in my works and that my art is in keeping with the great pulp comics of the time, the Dandy and the Beano.

Based on my experiences of the era, I try to capture and illustrate the simple freedoms we enjoyed back then, when we were relatively unrestrained by adult supervision; unlike many of today?s children.

If any other fellow nostalgics out there, have any images or memories of their former life that they would like captured in a similar medium, I am more than willing to undertake commissions.
