Dan Moores was born and raised in Liverpool, and is currently Studying a BA (Hons) in Fine Art with Professional Practice, at the Blackpool school of art.
Before starting his degree, Dans work was influenced by the appearance and movement of birds. This was part of a college project about freedom. His work now revolves on his surrounding and travels, but has also looked upon how sight works, and how people see the world in there own way. That what you see is not what everyone else gets. That we only experience the world thought chemical signals that are sent to are brains, from only five scenes. That we never really come in to contact with the world around us, and that we build a picture of what we imagine the world to be like. In his work Dan has distorted figures, exaggerated colour (such as red, blue and green) or removed colour altogether and played around with the contrast in his photographs, paintings and sketches. This is to show how are individual imaginations effect how we see the world differently from each other.
