Andrew is an experimental, semi-abstract photographer whose images deliberately confuse 2D and 3D surfaces, to create ambiguity. He particularly tries to create original work, often from the simplest objects and scenes. The works are produced in ongoing series, and new series are introduced if experiments produce results of interest. He enjoys setting himself a technical challenge and also produces abstract computer animation sequences and sound work
The artist is currently completing BA Fine Art & Photography at the University of Chester then will be practicing from the Atelier Workshops, Burton Manor College. He is also a self-employed, part-time gardener/landscaper in the Burton area of The Wirral. Two of his gardens are open under the NGS "yellow book" scheme.
